Sterling Silver, Ladies' Crop Walking Cane, Late Victorian
Description
A late Victorian ladies’ walking cane featuring a sterling silver handle in the classic L-shaped crop style. The handle is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1898, and is embellished with a personalised presentation engraving that reads: G.M. Broad. 25/12/99. The handle is mounted to a slender, naturally segmented bamboo shaft with a dark-stained finish. This is a standard walking stick with no hidden system features. Length approx. 90 cm.
