Mahogany Knob Handle Marquetry Walking Stick, Edwardian, 1907
Description
This Edwardian walking stick features a large, smooth bulbous knob handle crafted from dark-toned mahogany. The tapering mahogany shaft is decorated with a distinctive inlaid marquetry section just below the collar, displaying a fine diamond cross-hatched pattern with contrasting wood bands. The stick is fitted with an embossed silver collar, which is hallmarked for Birmingham and dated 1907. Length 91 cm.
