Lot 91:
Constitution of the United States of America, Framed Facsimile Broadside, Circa Mid-to-Late 20th Century
Description
A souvenir broadside reproduction of the Constitution of the United States of America. This facsimile print features the Preamble, Articles I through VII, and the printed signatures of the original delegates to the 1787 Constitutional Convention, including notable figures such as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, and James Madison. The piece is printed on heavy, parchment-style paper with an intentionally mottled brown appearance designed to mimic the aesthetic of the original historical document. It is housed in a slim, dark-toned metallic frame behind glass. Such items were commonly produced for historical sites and educational purposes during the latter half of the 20th century. Frame measures approximately 20 inches in height.
