Late Qing Dynasty to Republic Period Porcelain Umbrella Stand
Description
A Chinese blue and white porcelain umbrella stand, also known as a stick stand, dating to the late Qing Dynasty or Republic Period. The cylindrical body is decorated in underglaze blue with a dense, continuous pattern of scrolling lotus blossoms and foliate vines. The upper rim is encircled by a band of ruyi heads, and the base is finished with a border of stylized lappets. The interior is glazed in a plain white. No reign marks are present. Dimensions: Height: 24 inches; Diameter: 9 inches.

The item appears to be in good overall condition. There are no apparent structural cracks, significant chips, or signs of restoration. Minor firing flaws and light surface abrasions consistent with age are present.
