A group of three contemporary mosaic glass and mother-of-pearl inlaid decorative vases
Description
A collection of three contemporary decorative vessels featuring varied mosaic and inlaid surface treatments. The group includes a large double-gourd form vase, intricately decorated with a tessellated pattern of square-cut glass tiles in a palette of pastel sage green, sea blue, and violet. Accompanying this is a slender, tapered trumpet-form vase finished with amber-toned glass mosaic tiles, and an ovoid vessel featuring iridescent mother-of-pearl shell inlay arranged in both circular ‘coin’ motifs and irregular fragmented patterns. Each piece is constructed over a ceramic or composite substrate, reflecting a modern interpretation of Mediterranean and Art Deco styles. Largest vase approximately 35cm high.
