Lladró, Wedding Bells
Description
A glazed porcelain figurine by Lladró, Spain, titled Wedding Bells, model number 6164, designed by sculptor Juan Huerta. The piece depicts a bride and groom in wedding attire; the groom is dressed in a light grey morning suit holding a top hat, and the bride is in a classic white gown with a lace-textured hem, holding a bouquet of delicate pink flowers. The base bears the blue underglaze factory mark LLADRÓ HAND MADE IN SPAIN © DAISA 1994, alongside the incised model number 6164 and various artisan marks including A-15 N. Height approximately 20 cm.
