Description
This elegant mid-20th century writing table is constructed from mahogany with a uniform medium-brown finish, designed in the Regency Revival taste. The rectangular top sits above a configuration of two frieze drawers, each fitted with brass ring pulls and a central keyhole. The piece is elevated by a sophisticated curule-style X-frame base, featuring a central turned stretcher for added stability. Fine reeded detailing is applied to the legs and supports, characteristic of Neoclassical influence.
