Description
A comprehensive Harrison Bros & Howson ‘Alpha’ EPNS cutlery set, housed in a two-tier wooden canteen. The set features knives with cream/yellow celluloid or bakelite handles and ‘RUSTLESS’ blades, alongside a variety of spoons, forks, and serving utensils in matching silver-colored metal. The blades are marked ‘ALPHA’ beneath a crown, ‘HARRISON BROS & HOWSON SHEFFIELD ENGLAND’. The canteen is likely constructed from oak or mahogany with a dark finish, and is lined with a vibrant blue velvet or felt. Dating to the early to mid-20th century.
