Description
This lot comprises a varied collection of decorative and household items. A prominent feature is a vintage wooden mantel clock, likely mid-20th century, with a streamlined, curved case made of medium-toned wood, and a pale dial marked “SMITHS”. An electrical cord is wrapped around the clock. The ceramic items include numerous figurines, predominantly in white, with some featuring cobalt blue accents, depicting individuals and courting couples in an 18th-century European Rococo revival style, some appearing to play instruments. These figures are consistent with styles such as Blanc de Chine and Staffordshire pottery. Also present are several ceramic dishes, including a lidded container adorned with a pink rose motif and gold trim, and an open bowl with blue floral patterns.
