Lot 414: A Collection of Mid-to-Late 20th Century Hand Puppets and Plush Toys with a Wooden Puppet Stage

A collection of approximately two dozen hand puppets and plush toys, presented with a yellow-painted wooden puppet stage. The stage features green decorative borders and a central roundel depicting the universal symbols of theatrical masks, representing comedy and tragedy. The puppets and toys are primarily constructed from various fabric and plush materials, with several featuring molded plastic or composition heads and hands. Visible characters include human figures such as a male character in a red beret, a blonde female, and a gnome-like figure. Animal characters include a lion, tiger, dogs, a deer, a unicorn, and a duck character identifiable as Donald Duck, alongside a horse or donkey puppet. The stylistic range of the collection suggests a likely mid-to-late 20th-century period.
