PenDelfin, Collection of Seven Whimsical Rabbit Figurines
Description
A charming collection of seven hand-painted stonecraft figurines by PenDelfin, featuring various anthropomorphic rabbits in storybook poses. The group includes a large mother rabbit with her leverets, Pie Face holding a lattice-top pie, and several figures depicting rabbits sleeping in colourful beds or holding accessories. These pieces are characteristic of the Burnley-based pottery, known for their textured fur and expressive features. While no factory marks are visible on the upper surfaces, the style and subjects are definitive of the PenDelfin range. One figure bears a small adhesive inventory label numbered 6182. Height of largest approximately 12.7 cm.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good condition with some light surface dust from display. A minor area of paint loss or a small chip is noted on the tip of the large rabbit’s left ear. No significant repairs or missing structural parts are evident.
